Valley East Seniors' Club Parkside Centre satellite officially opened by Mayor Bigger as part of Family Fun Day.

Mayor Brian Bigger presented Debbie McNichol, President of the Valley East Seniors' Club Parkside Centre Satellite with a special certificate to commemorate the grand opening of their seniors' centre in Blezard Valley. The senior's club was a collaborative effort of the Valley East Seniors' Club, the Parkside Centre in Sudbury, and the Valleyview Community Church which is located on Martin Road in Blezard Valley.
A membership purchased to the Valley East Seniors' Club Parkside Centre Satellite entitles a person to receive all of the benefits and privileges of belonging to the main site in downtown Sudbury. Specific programs are being offered at the satellite location with more to come during the spring session and into the fall of 2015. Dozens of people were on hand for the ribbon cutting ceremony and hundreds of families attended the open house.
