On April 12 were held the championship games of the Conseil scolaire catholique du Nouvel-Ontario (CSCNO) Elementary School Mixed basket-ball Tournament. No less than 10 teams competed in this contest designed for grade 4-5-6- students held in the École Jean-Paul II gymnasium.

The Tigres from Sudbury’s École St-Denis claimed the championship with a 57-31 victory over the École Jean-Paul II Comètes (Val Caron).

Members of the École St-Denis coed team include Maxim Dumais, Jacob Démoré, Jacob Paradis, Samuel Cloutier, Éric Huneault, Isabella Borello, Danica Levesque, Molly O’Reilly, Mikeala Ricard and Valérie Honse. The team is coached by Martin Nadeau.
