Residents Can Now Receive Tax Bills Online

The City of Greater Sudbury is pleased to advise property owners that 2014 final municipal tax bills are now available via Canada Post’s epostTM digital mailbox.

Signing up for Canada Post’s epost digital mailbox service allows residents to log in from any computer to view bills online in a safe and secure digital mailbox. Once municipal tax bills are ready, it will then be a few simple clicks to add the City of Greater Sudbury statements to your account.

In order to receive a 2014 final municipal tax bill online, property owners must sign up for epost and add ‘City of Greater Sudbury Property Tax’ now until April 21, 2014. If residents already have an epost account, simply add City of Greater Sudbury to your account and your municipal property tax bill will be delivered right to your epost inbox.

After April 21, 2014, enrollment will continue for future bills including the 2015 interim and final municipal property tax bills.

As the trusted provider of Canadians’ mail, Canada Post protects your privacy with the most-advanced encryption technology. And, your personal information stays within Canada. Unlike email service providers, you receive only the mail you sign up for – no advertisements, spam or junk mail.

There is no change for residents who prefer to receive a paper municipal tax bill in the mail. Only those who voluntarily sign up for epost will receive an online bill.

To sign up for epost or for more information, please visit www.epost.ca.

For more information about your municipal property tax bill, please contact the City by dialing 3-1-1 or visit www.greatersudbury.ca/taxes.
