Shortly before 3 p.m. on Tuesday April 26th, there was an attempted bank robbery at the BMO near Real Canadian Super Store located at 1485 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury. A lone male suspect entered the bank. No weapon was seen. He fled the bank on foot. Police attended with a large presence searching the area. Officers remain in that area canvasing for information.
The Criminal Investigations Division is continuing with this investigation.
The suspect is described as a white male, 6 feet tall and skinny. He was wearing a black vest, dark blue or black pants with a white stripe and wearing running shoes. He had on a backpack.
