(SUDBURY ON) The Greater Sudbury Police Service Marine Unit discovered an active fire burning is front of a residence on Ramsey Lake as a result of being improperly extinguished.
A resident was trying to burn his retaining wall yesterday and believed the fire was extinguished last night. Due to the recent dry conditions, the fire began to burn again without the home owner being aware.
The fire department attended to ensure the fire was properly extinguished.
