Sudbury, ON] Dixie Lee Roosters Diner, a rapidly growing Ontario based takeout and dine-in restaurant franchise, is pleased to announce the Grand Reopening of Dixie Lee Garson. New local franchisees Shawn and Beverly Blanchette invite customers and community members to join the festivities at at 3060 Falconbridge Highway on Friday from 10:30am to 9pm at their Grand Opening event.
The Blanchettes will be officially welcomed into their new business with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 10:30am by an allstar team including:
● Mike Jakubo, Greater Sudbury Ward 7 Councillor;
● Property owner Paul Zulich;
● Paul Lefebvre, MP for Sudbury; and
● Maria Struik, president and CEO of Dixie Lee Roosters Diner, along with Corporate Associates Joshua Lance and Shawn Struik
Throughout the day, attendees are invited to partake in the celebrations including cake and refreshments, door prizes, ballots for a Grand Opening draw (prizes include free food, gift certificates and more), and special opportunities to meet the new franchisees and experience their allnew menu.
Prior to joining the rapidly expanding Dixie Lee franchise team, Shawn and Beverly Blanchette honed their customer service and business skills in a number of roles.
“I feel like this is just such a great next step for us. Shawn grew up in Sudbury and has worked hard his entire life in a variety of industries, from building maintenance to computers to administration,” Beverly Blanchette said. “My experience is as a PSW and in customer service, with a background in franchises including Tim Hortons and Dairy Queen. We just feel like this is a great use of both our skills and we’re excited to work together to give the customers of Dixie Lee Garson a great experience each time they choose to dine with us.”
For her part, Struik is excited to reopen Dixie Lee Garson and welcome customers back to the business.
“I’m truly ecstatic to bring Shawn and Beverly on board as our Dixie Lee Roosters Diner franchisees in Garson. I know they’ll serve our customers in this area well,” said Maria Struik, President and CEO of Dixie Lee Roosters Diner. She continued, “From the day we met, I could see that their passion and collective experience was just what this location needed. Our customers have been clear they love our product. And it takes great people to make that happen. Shawn and Beverly are great people and a great addition to our franchise family.”
Grand Opening attendees are invited to enjoy the exclusive opening week 6piece for $10 special (limit 4 per customer) and can qualify for grand prize drawings by registering for the Roosters Rewards program, which enables customers to accumulate points to redeem for free food.
