Warren Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was called to assist the Markstay-Warren Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services (EMS) at a residential fire on Murray Lake Road on August 10th, 2016 around 8:45am.
The residence was completely destroyed and after the fire was extinguished, a body was located in the remains. The deceased male has been identified as 39 year old Dennis Thompson from Sudbury.
A post mortem examination took place on August 11, 2016 and the Warren OPP Crime Unit, with assistance from the Coroner and the Office of the Fire Marshall, are continuing to investigate.
