The Greater Sudbury Police Service is currently at the scene of a serious motor vehicle/pedestrian collision on Notre Dame Avenue at King Street in Greater Sudbury. Witness describe the victim as "an elderly woman driving a scooter."
The southbound lanes of Notre Dame heading towards downtown are currently closed at King Street and are being rerouted via Laforest Avenue. Emergency personnel are on scene.
Motorists are asked to find alternate routes until the roadway is reopened.
