École secondaire catholique Champlain hosts winter clothing drive
On November 24, École secondaire catholique Champlain (Chelmsford) students and staff hosted an open house in support of the community’s Winter Clothing Drive organized by Our Children, Our Future. During this open house held in the school cafeteria, many children and adults in need had the opportunity to select winter clothing items for themselves and their family to keep warm in the winter. The generous donations and support of many community partners, ensured that a huge quantity of winter coats and a variety of items such as mittens, gloves and hats were distributed. Through their participation in this event, Champlain students were able to make a valuable contribution to their community and gain a better appreciation of the needs of some families.
