Updated - Amber Alert Deactivation: 8 year old Manitobe girl located

The Manitoba RMCP has issued an Amber Alert after an eight-year-old girl was allegedly abducted by her mother from Portage la Prairie, Man. The child is described as aboriginal, 4-feet tall and 60 lbs. She has black, medium-length hair and was wearing a purple winter coat, black boots and jeans.

The child, Luisa Noyemi Alvarenga, was last seen in a stolen black Chevy Sierra with the license plate FPB 968.

RCMP say the girl was taken from her home by her mother, 43-year-old Colleen Sheryl McIvor.
Police said they believe the child and her mother may be at Long Plain First Nation in Manitoba.
