Greater Sudbury Fire and Paramedic Services responded to a structure fire in the area of Barrydowne Rd shortly before 8:00pm.
17 firefighters from 3 stations responded to the residence. The fire caused and estimated $300,000 in damages to the side split style home.
2 People were injured in the blaze, one has been transported to burn unit down south. Their conditions are unknown.
The Ontario Fire Marshal is investigating the cause.
