Greater Sudbury Police have provided new information in their investigation into two shooting that occurred in Greater Sudbury this week.
Staff Sgt. Al Asunmaa of the Criminal Investigations Division spoke to media this morning at 11 a.m. in the front lobby at GSPS headquarters.
"To date the investigation has revealed that the vehicle that was involved in the shooting on Barrydowne on Wednesday evening, it's been described as a Dodge Journey, silver in color. It has factory black room racks on it."
"We do know that there were at least two individuals that were in the vehicle and that there were multiple gun shots that entered the truck that was shot."
Police say that the new description of the vehicle is based on information provided by an independent witness.

"We do know that there was at least one caliber, we believe that there were two different guns involved in there"
Police continue to review security footage from business establishments on Barrydowne and Lasalle.
It is believed that both incidents are related "in some capacities" and it is not know at this time if these suspects involved are from out of town. It is also believed, based on information from the public regarding the individuals involved, that these incidents are related to drug trafficking or drug debts. It's not believed that they are related to gang activity or turf wars.
