Robbery of Cab Driver on Kathleen Street

On Thursday October 2nd shortly before 9 pm, a cab driver was robbed while driving a fare on Kathleen Street, Sudbury. The male party fled on foot. Police attended the area where containment was very quickly set up by Uniform officers, Tactical officer, Break, Enter and Robbery (B.E.A.R.) Unit and Drug Enforcement Unit plainclothes officers. After a search of the area, the 28 year old Sudbury man was located nearby and arrested for robbery and breaching court orders. He will be held for a bail hearing.
