Vehicle Collides with Building - Little Caesars on Lasalle

On Wednesday October 29th at 08:30 pm, a car driven by a 74 year old Sudbury woman collided with a business, Little Caesars Pizza at 1542 Lasalle Blvd. The car went through the glass windows and wall of the business where three persons inside received minor injuries. Only 1 person was transported to Health Sciences North by EMS as a precaution but the injury was not life threatening.

There was no alcohol involved in this matter. This motor vehicle collision occurred on private property and there will be no charges laid. Upon investigation it appears the driver mistook the gas pedal for the brake pedal. As a result, police have requested a license review by the Ministry of Transportation of this driver’s ability to be operating a motor vehicle.

Damage to the building is estimated at $15,000.00. There was front end damage also to the vehicle.
