43 year old man arrested in downtown disturbance

On the 10th of January 2015, the Greater Sudbury Police Service received a complaint from the Salvation Army that a 43 year old male party who was known to Police was causing a disturbance. He was acting aggressive and was attempting to assault people. Shortly thereafter our Police Service received a second complaint about this same male except now he was at the bus depot downtown acting in the same manner. Police attended the area and when the male observed police he attempted to flee. He was arrested on Elm Street where he then became combative towards police. He was eventually subdued and placed in the police vehicle.
