Break In at School on Bruyere Street in Sudbury

On Sunday January 11th, at 08:30 pm, police responded to an alarm at a school on Bruyere St, Sudbury. Lights could be seen going on and off. Police identified a point of entry.

During the initial search of the building officers arrested one 17 year old male and it was suspected others were inside.

The building was contained. A canine unit was called out to attend and clear the school with officers. Other suspects were not located inside the school. This matter is still under investigation.

The 17 year old was arrested for the break in and will be held for a bail hearing.
