Man charged with trespass, weapons and possession of break in tools

On Monday January 12th shortly after 1:30 am, a resident on Cumberland Crt and another from Beatrice St Sudbury called in s suspicious person observed checking vehicles in the area and skulking through yards.

Police attended the area and identified footprints that lead from that neighbourhood along the railway tracks toward the Flour Mill.

Officers followed the footprints to a 29 year old male near Notre Dame. He was arrested and searched. He was found to be carrying a knife and tools.

The Birch Island man was also wanted on an outstanding warrant. He will be held for a bail hearing for Trespass By Night; Carry A Concealed Weapon and Possession of Break-in Tools.

love how they appear promptly to this call but still havent appeared over my friends stolen car from 4 months ago....where the suspect had a weapon. could of been this guy they caught. but no one will ever know now. why? because forensics wasnt needed "because when the car was recovered totalled the windsheild wipers were in the on position" as per the police themselves. Any one of these criminals could of stolen her car and now they are going to get away with it. good job sudbury regionals good job!
