“As I said in my press conference in December, these conversations are the reason I withdrew my nomination as a Liberal candidate. Following that announcement I was encouraged to run as an Independent candidate and my sole focus has been to engage the voters in Sudbury and to convince them that I should be their voice at Queen’s Park.
Unfortunately speculation about these conversations has become a point of distraction and a source of confusion for the people of Sudbury.
In an attempt to set the record straight, I have decided to release these recordings to the media and make them available to the public.
However to maintain a focus on the important issues of this campaign I will not be commenting further on this matter.
Voters, pundits and others can listen for themselves. The unedited recordings/transcripts will be available on my Facebook page. I will continue to campaign for the people of Sudbury as I believe Sudbury needs a representative they can trust.”
