Greater Sudbury Police Service responded to a reports of a plane crash at Whitewater Lake in Azilda on June 2nd, 2015 around 8:00am. Once on the scene, officers observed 2 adult males sitting on pontoon of an overturned float plane approximately 1 km from shore. The victims were ferried to shore and treated for minor injuries by EMS personnel. The Transportation Safety Board and the Ministry of the Environment have been contacted and the investigation continues.
