Disturbance on Brady Street sends one man to hospital

Greater Sudbury Police have arrested a 42 year old male for Aggravated Assault who is currently being held for a Bail hearing this morning in Sudbury Court. 

The investigation has determined this was an isolated incident as the Victim and Accused knew each other and there is no further threat to public safety. The 52 year old male victim remains in hospital with serious head injuries.

On Tuesday, December 1st, 2015 at approximately 7:15pm, Police were dispatched to a disturbance on Brady Street. Upon arrival at the residence, police located a male victim with injuries and was transported to Health Sciences North to be treated for serious facial injuries. The suspect was also located and arrested inside the residence. It was later determined that the victim and accused were acquaintances. The matter is currently being investigated by the Criminal Investigations Branch.
