Release of High Risk Offender into Community

Greater Sudbury Police Service (GSPS) is working in partnership with the local parole office to ensure the successful reintegration of an offender into the community after serving a sentence for various offences involving children and youth.

Robinson pleaded guilty in a Hamilton courtroom in 2011 to 6 sex related charges, including sexually assaulting a 10 yr old and sexually exploiting a 4 yr old and an 8 yr old according to the Hamilton Spectator.

Keith Roger Robinson, 53, will remain under the supervision of the local federal parole office and the police.  He is subject to conditions which prevent his access to young people and certain public places. His day-to-day activities will be scrutinized and he must reside at a designated location having limited access to the community at large.
Mr. Robinson will be residing in the downtown area.
He is described as Caucasian, 5’2”, 135 lbs. with long grey hair and a full beard.
GSPS recognizes public safety as a shared commitment. The public is therefore asked to report any concerning activity involving Keith Robinson to police at 705-675-9171 ext 6397. This would include observing Mr. Robinson in the immediate company of young people or near any schools, parks, playgrounds, community centres, pools or daycare facilities.
GSPS assures the community that public safety is a priority in this case.  Our members, in cooperation with our partners at the local parole office, are taking the necessary steps to ascertain Mr. Robinson’s seamless reintegration.
