Updated - February 28th, 2016 2:30pm: On the 26th of February 2016 a female entered the Lagace’s Confectionary brandishing what appeared to be a real handgun. She confronted the clerk and demanded money. An altercation ensued resulting in the female fleeing the store empty handed. A multi-unit investigation involving Uniformed Division, the Break and Enter and Robbery Unit (BEAR), Canine Unit, Tactical Unit and Criminal Investigations Division quickly zeroed in on a suspect as well as an accomplice. At 11:00 pm on the 27th of February 2016 a 19 year old female and a 16 year old female were arrested for Robbery and a number of other offences. They are currently being held pending Bail Court on Sunday.

Original: On the 26th of February at 8:49 p.m. a suspect wearing a red Jacket and black track pants entered the Lagace Confectionary brandishing a weapon. The suspect demanded money from the store clerk but was scared off before any money was obtained. The Greater Sudbury Police Service is currently attempting to locate the party responsible.
