The annual Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics will be held on Tuesday, April 26. Participants will gather at 4:30 p.m. at Science North, leaving promptly at 5:00 p.m.
Participants, who include Police, Correctional, and Probation and Parole personnel, athletes, coaches, and volunteers from the Special Olympics, Sudbury Chapter, will embark on the 3.2 kilometer run to Tom Davis Square, via Paris Street. The run is to raise awareness and funds for the Special Olympics.
Motorists are invited to show their support for this great cause by honking their horns along the route.
