Motor vehicle collision on Kingsway

This morning at approximately 8:20 a.m. the Greater Sudbury Police Service responded to a collision on the Kingsway.  At that time is was learned that a westbound Honda Civic lost control and slid across oncoming lanes where it was struck by an eastbound Ford F150.  A 19 Year old female was transported to hospital with a broken leg, and a 56 year old male was treated and released on scene.  Despite the poor weather and road conditions one vehicle was travelling at approximately 80 km/h.  One of the vehicles was believed to have been cut off by another unidentified eastbound vehicle.  Drivers are urged to use caution when travelling in inclement weather to prevent collisions.  Adjust your speed according to the weather and road conditions.  The owner of the vehicle pictured below is extremely lucky her injuries were not worse.
