Greater Subury Online gives back to the community

Greater Sudbury Online is giving back to the community by donating 25% of it's "search traffic" revenue to local charities on an ongoing basis
"The idea that I wanted to give back has been developing since shortly before Christmas last year." explains Ed Lajambe, GSO president.
"My daughter heard a commercial on the radio promoting the Infant food bank, she began asking questions and towards the end of our conversation she made the remark that is was sad that babies didn't have the things they need. That stuck with me." Ed explained, "That statement combined with my own desires to help projects related to youth and other charities made the decision an easy one."
The specific charities we will be donating to will vary at times, however we will announce them as they are made.
The GSO start page offers the convenience of a Google Search combined local weather, recent news, popular mail links, popular website link and direct links to major sections on our website.
Area residents can support our efforts by setting us as their "homepage" or "start page" and simply using the search in the same way they use any other search engine. In doing so GSO every time somebody used the search or clicks on google ads, we receives "search revenue".
If you like to support our efforts, please follow the directions below to set us as your "homepage"
