Updated - May 24th, 2016 9:30pm: Greater Sudbury Fire Services responded to a structure fire on Walter Avenue in Greater Sudbury around 6:00pm on May
24th, 2016.
Sources tell GSO that the fire started in an ‘abandoned’ vehicle located at a rental property which quickly spread to a
nearby garage.
Fire Service were able contain to extinguish the blaze around 8:00pm. There were no injuries.
The cause is still understand investigation and cost of the damage is unknown at this time.

The Greater Sudbury Police Service wishes to advise the public of a large structure fire currently ongoing on Walter Avenue in Greater Sudbury.
Fire Services are currently at the scene and are requesting that the public avoid the area at this time.
