(SUDBURY ON) Updated - July 19th, 2016 12:55pm:Power full restored to approximately 1200 Sudbury Hydro customers in the New Sudbury and Flour Mill area following an outage that began around 11:00am Tuesday morning.
Many of the affected customer were restored just before 12:30am. Pioneer Manor remained offline on generator power until approximately 1:30pm and about 38 customers in Harvest Moon Co-Op were restored around 2:30pm.
The utility says the outage was caused by a failure in one of its underground feeders which was "difficult to access".

Updated - July 19th, 2016 12:18pm: Sudbury Hydro says that 75% of those affected by this morning's outage have been restored and crews are working to restore the rest.

A widespread outage is currently affecting 1216 customers in the New Sudbury and Flour Mill areas of Greater Sudbury.
Crews have been dispatched to determine the cause, which remains unknown at this time. Sudbury Hydro says it's working on restoring power in sections by rerouting through other feeders.
The area affected extends from Cambrian Heights on the west, to Gemmell on the east, north from Mcdonald's on Notre Dame to about Lasalle Blvd.
