House fire on Tedman Street in Sudbury

Greater Sudbury Fire Services responded to a home on Tedman Street in Sudbury are 3:30am.

21 firefighters from 4 stations battled the blaze that caused $200,000 in Damage.

Smoke and fire damage are described as severe.

The home was unoccupied and there were no injuries.

Greater Sudbury Fires Services wants to remind residents that every home in Ontario must have a working smoke alarm on every storey and outside all sleeping areas.  Test your smoke alarms once a month and replace the batteries every year. Smoke alarms can increase your chances of surviving a fire by up to 50%
