Chapleau Man Arrested on Drug Charges and Driving Offences

As a result of an investigation by Greater Sudbury Police Service Drug Unit, a 28-year old, Chapleau man has been charged with various drug and driving offences.
On Thursday, September 8, 2016, Greater Sudbury Police Officers stopped a vehicle in Chelmsford and arrested a 28-year old, male suspect. A search of the vehicle revealed 376.8 grams of Cocaine, 60.85 grams of Cannabis Marijuana and 14 Codeine pills. The drugs seized had a value of $38,318.00 and $1,520.00 in Canadian currency was also seized by Officers.
The male suspect was charged with the following;
-Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking
-Possession of Controlled Substance (x2)
-Possession of Property Obtained by Crime
-Drive While Under Suspension
-Use Plates Not Authorized for Motor Vehicle
