Fire causes $150,000 to home on East Bay Road in Skead

Greater Sudbury Fire Service responded to a house fire on East Bay Road around 10:30pm on January 18th, 2017.

Damages are described as severe with estimated lose at $150,000 and two people have been displaced as a result of the fire.

There were no injuries.

Greater Sudbury Fire Services would like to remind residents that every home in Ontario must have a working smoke alarm on every storey and outside all sleeping areas. Test your smoke alarms once a month and replace the batteries every year. Smoke alarms can increase your chances of surviving a fire by up to 50%
