Members of the Greater Sudbury Police Service’s Break, Enter and Robbery (B.E.A.R) Unit have charged two males in connection with a graffiti incident in the city.
Kyle CLUTE (25) and Austin SAVILLE (18) are facing one count each of Mischief Under $5000 as well as Wearing a Disguise with Intent to Commit an Indictable Offence. Kyle CLUTE also faces multiple CDSA charges.
The investigation into other incidents linked to these males is ongoing. Their graffiti tags have been identified as “HEAP” and “EKPR/EKIPR” (depicted below). These tags can be found throughout the City of Greater Sudbury.
Acts of graffiti cost business owners and residents thousands of dollars in damages to their property and often require professional cleaning to remove. Resulting investigations require a considerable amount of police resources.
Police are asking property owners who have experienced damage to their property, specifically in relation to the tags “HEAP” or “EKPR/EKIPR” to contact a member of the Break, Enter and Robbery Unit at 705 675 9171 (ext. 2220 or 2224).
