On Wednesday April 16th shortly after 8 pm, officers in the Drug Enforcement Unit observed a party known to them to be wanted on an outstanding Immigration Warrant. The 37 year old man was arrested without incident. The Canadian Border Services Agency (CBSA) responded quickly following the arrest in issuing an Order For Detention on this individual who was wanted by their agency. He will be detained in police custody until CBSA attend to take custody of him for removal under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act.
