Update: Police have renewed the request that the public avoid the area to allow for the moment of fire services vehicles.
This location of the fire is not supplied by city water and as a result, tankers need to be able to move freely and quickly from the far end Duipuis Drive, a dead end road, to Cote Bvld. in order to access fire hydrants.
---
Heavy equipment has also been called in to help move a pile of hay bales still burning.
