A video, taken approximately a week ago, by a Lively resident that went viral after it was posted on YouTube has resulted in charges against at least one person that cannot be named under the Youth Court Justice Act.
In the video, Grant Reed, a resident of the neighborhood videotaped the suspects' vehicle driving down the neighborhood street making excess noise in the early morning hours.
In what appears to have started as an attempt to obtain a license number of the vehicle responsible, people at the residence were alerted to Reed's presence and a conversation with one of the young men took place.
Based on the conversation that took place, according to Reed, this problem has been ongoing for several months and involved careless driving of snowmobiles and other occasions of excess noise.
As we see more and more case where law enforcement is utilizing technology in their fight against crime this should offer a reminder to youth and people in general that we live in a world of cameras and social media, informaton is everywhere, start acting a little more respectful and responsible.
