Members of the Greater Sudbury Police Service continue the ground search for
a 21 year old male.
Mapinzi Tchashenyi is at risk because of a diminished mental capacity. He is
a developmentally disabled adult who functions at the capacity of a 5 year old
child. He has difficulty communicating and depends on others to meet every day
needs.
He is described as a black male, 5 foot, 5 inches tall, 130 pounds with a thin build, having short brown hair. He was last seen wearing black pants wi...th a brown shirt, which had coloured stripes.
Mr. Tchashenyi is new to Sudbury. He responds to his first name Mapinzi. He is believed to be on foot and was last seen on May 8th 2014 at 10:00 pm in the area of the townhouse complex at 241 Second Avenue North (Greater Sudbury). This area is formerly known as Birkdale Village.
The public is urged to contact police is this person is seen.
