(BLIND RIVER, ON)
- Shortly after 3:00pm on January 16, 2024, East Algoma OPP observer a wanted person walking on Woodward Avenue in the Town of Blind River.
Officers arrested the individual on Murray Street and while searching the individual police located over $200 of Canadian currency, over 5 grams of suspected fentanyl and over 5 pills of suspected hydromorphone (street value of over $950).
As a result, Jason GUY, 39 years-of-age from Blind River was charged with:
Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking-Opioid (other than heroin)
Possession of a Schedule I Substance-Opioid (other than heroin)
Failure to Comply with Release Order-other than to attend court
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Elliot Lake on March 7, 2024.
