Greater Sudbury Fire Services report they responded to a small chemical fire at Reliable Industrial Supply around 7am. There is no danger to the public or the environment as the fire was extinguished quickly.
Three firefighters that were sent to Health Sciences North as a precautionary measure, due to the chemical nature of the fire.
Police remain on the scene directing traffic but businesses in the area have now re-opened with the exception of Reliable Industrial Supply.
Fire officials will begin to investigate the cause once the building has been allowed to ventilate.
