École St-Denis dominates elementary school mixed soft-ball tournament

The Tigres from Sudbury's École St-Denis were the victorious team in the CSPGNO Mixed Soff-Ball Tournament that was held on June 2 at the Terry-Fox Field. In the preliminary round, St-Denis defeated École de la Rivière-des-Français (5-1) and École Camille Perron (14-1). In the championship game, St-Denis pursued its fine form and defeated the squad from École Notre-Dame (Hanmer) by the schore of 6 to 3.

The following players were part of the St-Denis team: Hannah O'Reilly, Paige Helmer, Kayla Murray, Mylène Lefebvre, Julia Roy, Daphne Vigna, Félix Tubin, Sean Roberts, Julien Tubin, Matthew Leon, Louis Mullin-Bélanger and Anthony Rogerson. The team was coached by Danielle Loiselle and Martin Nadeau.
