FACEBOOK IS ONCE AGAIN GOING TO MESS WITH YOUR NEWS FEEDS

Starting on Monday September 1st, 2014, Facebook will begin "weeding out" stories based on what they call 'clickbait' headlines. Facebook describes these as "a headline that encourages people to click to see more, without telling them much information about what they will see."

Facebook claims that they will be evaluating the links based on how much time a person stays away from Facebook and how often it's shared and liked.

Depending on what criteria are used to determine whether as link is 'clickbait', this could include many of the links that Facebook Pages and Groups, including ours, use to provide their followers with the information that they actually want.

It is yet to be seen exactly how this latest round of "Facebook Pushing Paid Advertising" will affect the information you have come to expect. Users will want to view their favorite pages frequently and should Share/Like those articles that are important or they think may be of interesting to others to ensure they are delivered to their audience. It may also be beneficial to turn on notifications for those Pages and Groups that are most important.
