Update Decemeber 1st, 2014 6:00pm - Residents of the building report that within a very short period of time two incidents occurred early this evening; a small fire in the elevator room and somebody sprayed pepper spray in the fourth floor hallway. Residents are being allowed back into the building.

Originial Story December 1st, 2014 5:15pm - Greater Sudbury Police, Fire and Emergency Services are investigating an unknown odor at the Belmoral Apartment building located on Bruce in Sudbury.
Reports from one resident are that the unknown odor may be originating from the fourth floor. The the public is being asking the public to stay clear of the building and no one is being allowed to leave or enter the building.
