Sudbury man arrested on outstanding warrant

On November 18, 2015, at approximately 2:53 am, members of the West Parry Sound Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) observed a maroon vehicle which was registered as a silver vehicle northbound on Hwy 400 in Seguin Township. Police conducted a traffic stop on this vehicle. The investigation led to a search of the vehicle and the subsequent seizure of alcohol.
The driver, Lucas JOHNSON, 21 years of age from Espanola, was arrested and charged with Driving Motor Vehicle with open container of liquor, contrary to the Liquor Licence Act (LLA). JOHNSON was issued a Provincial Offences Notice.
Passenger Thomas BROWNRIGG, 23 years of age from Sudbury, was arrested on a warrant held by Sudbury Regional Police. Arrangements were made to meet Sudbury Regional Police and BROWNRIGG was turned over to their custody.
Passenger Dayna CAMPBELL-SUESS, 21 years of age from Espanola, was arrested and charged with:
· Fail to comply with Undertaking contrary to the Criminal Code (CC).
· Obstruct Peace Officer contrary to the CC.
A third passenger, a 15-year-old who cannot be named in accordance with the Youth Justice Act, was turned over to a Social Worker with the Parry Sound Children’s Aid Society.
