Weapons Complaint on Mabel Street

On the 3rd of December 2015, shortly after 3:00 PM, members of the Greater Sudbury Police Service Patrol Operations and Tactical Unit responded to a weapons call on Mabel Street in the City of Greater Sudbury.

In order to ensure a peaceful and safe resolution to this incident, police closed down a section of Mabel Street.

At approximately 4:05 PM, a Sudbury youth was taken into custody by members of the Tactical Unit.

There were no injuries as a result of this call.

There is no further risk to public safety.

Mabel Street is now open to traffic.

This matter is currently under investigation by the Greater Sudbury Police Service.
