Police investigate two robberies that took place on Saturday afternoon

The first incident occurred on the 23rd of January 2016 at approximately 1:03pm; Uniform Patrol officers were dispatched to a reported Robbery at the Extasy Shop Superstore on the Kingsway. A lone female entered the store and while attempting to conceal merchandise and exit the store she was confronted by the store clerk. The store clerk had been threatened and the culprit left the scene with the merchandise.

The second incident occurred on Saturday the 23rd of January 2016 at approximately 4:45pm; Uniform Patrol officers were dispatched to a reported Robbery at the Guardian Pharmacy in Lively. A lone male entered the pharmacy and demanded narcotics from the staff. The culprit left the scene on a snowmobile with an undisclosed amount of narcotics.

Uniform Patrol members along with Criminal Investigations Detectives and the BEAR Unit are continuing with the investigation.
