Greater Sudbury Police are seeking the public's assistance in locating a stolen vehicle that evaded police pursuit and was involved in hit and run accident.

On the 21 Feb16 a 2004 Black Dodge Durango bearing licence Number BTEB 452 was stolen from the Hanmer area. This vehicle has a broken right tail light which is held together with red tuck tape and there is also some damage to the left rear bumper.

On the 21 Feb 2016 at 2300hrs police observed this stolen motor vehicle travelling east on Lasalle and attempted to stop it however the driver accelerated away at a high rate of speed.

On the 22nd Feb 2016 in the early afternoon hours this vehicle was involved in a Fail to remain motor vehicle collision in the area of the New Sudbury Shopping Mall. No injuries reported as the result of this collision.

If this vehicle is seen please notify police as soon as possible.
