Structure Fire - Attlee Street, Sudbury

Greater Sudbury Fire Service was called to a three unit row how on Atlee Street around 8:20pm on April 15th, 2016.

Seventeen firefighters from three stations responded to the incident with five emergency vehicles.

4 people were evacuated and 4 people have been displayed. There were no injuries.

The fire was contained to one unit, damage is described as moderate with minor smoke damage. Damage is estimated at $10,000.

Greater Sudbury Fires Services reminds residents to develop and practice a home fire escape plan. In case a fire starts, everyone must know two ways out of every room, if possible. Get out and stay out! Don’t try to save possessions – go directly to your meeting place outside.
