On Monday, May 2, 2016, Bob, a dedicated volunteer at the Greater Sudbury Police Service storefront in Capreol made a call to Charlotte, a Friendly Call Program registrant. During their conversation, Bob could tell that Charlotte sounded different and that she was having difficulty breathing.

On August 8, 2016, Greater Sudbury Police received a complaint of fraud from a resident of Val Caron. The resident received a paper bill in the mail from Bell Canada for approximately $200 that appeared legitimate and provided payee information in order for payment to be made.
During the late evening hours on the 6th of August 2016, a break and enter occurred at a residence on Westmount Avenue in Greater Sudbury.
Neighbors in the area are saying he was found deceased in a culvert nearby. Police have confirmed the boy is deceased but aren't releasing any additional info.
