On the 29th of April 2014 at 5:20 am, an adult male broke into The Beer Store at 1485 Lasalle Boulevard in the City of Greater Sudbury. The offence was carried out when the suspect attended the retailer while operating a stolen red Dodge Ram 1500 truck. The truck was reported stolen to police earlier in the day.

On Thursday April 17th at 2 pm, a 21 year old Sudbury man was in the washroom at Tim Hortons on Cedar St., Sudbury when 2 men came in after him. They began assaulting him by kicking, punching and striking him with an object repeatedly as they dug through his pockets taking his money. The victim also had his hand bitten by one of the suspects.

On Wednesday April 16th shortly after 8 pm, officers in the Drug Enforcement Unit observed a party known to them to be wanted on an outstanding Immigration Warrant. The 37 year old man was arrested without incident.

In an effort to decrease the instance of impaired driving within the city, Greater Sudbury Police have starting release the names of those charged Impaired Driving Offences.
On the 9th of April 2014 a female party broke into a residence on Riverside Drive and stole the family pet. The owner of the dog was driving in the area of Regent Street the following day and found a female who was walking his dog on the sidewalk. Police were contacted by the male.
