On April 12 were held the championship games of the Conseil scolaire catholique du Nouvel-Ontario (CSCNO) Elementary School Mixed basket-ball Tournament. No less than 10 teams competed in this contest designed for grade 4-5-6- students held in the École Jean-Paul II gymnasium.

Sacré-Coeur student receives Aboriginal Youth Award

Mélanie-Rose Frappier, a grade 11 student at École secondaire du Sacré-Coeur in Sudbury, was honoured during the Gathering Our Voices 2014 Aboriginal Youth Conference. Held in Vancouver from March 18 to 21, this conference brought together some 2,000 youths (14 to 24 years of age) as well as presenters and guests.
