Water levels in most lakes and streams remain high but are slowly moving towards seasonal levels. Cooler temperatures have brought some stability to water levels in smaller watersheds. However, levels and flows on a few watercourses will remain high and fast for some time.

At approximately 7:41 p.m., on March 21, 2016, members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were advised of a traffic complaint regarding a vehicle eastbound on Highway 17 from Espanola, being operated by a male possibly impaired by alcohol.
