On March 14, 2016 at approximately 9:20 p.m., officers from the Sudbury Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a fatal motor vehicle collision involving a pedestrian on Highway 17, in Nickle Centre (Wahnapitae).
